MELMAC EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The MELMAC Education Foundation's mission is to prepare Maine's youth to be ready for and successful in college and career. The MELMAC Education Foundation serves as a strategic thought partner that funds and collaboratively supports best practices in post-secondary pathways, with funding from MELMAC helping school partners expose students to education and employment opportunities to build the skills necessary to pursue post-secondary education, attain credentials-of value, and find success after high school.

Boosting Readiness for Career and College Initiative (grants for middle, high school, and CTE students); Promoting Post-Secondary Success Initiative (grants for post-secondary degree programs); Aligning Education and Employment Systems Initiative (bringing education and employer partners together); Aspire Scholarships ($2,000 per Maine high school); CTE Scholarships ($2,000 per career and technical education center).
