    SMRI no longer holds an open call for proposals, though it will consider studies on a case-by-case basis. The institute does not have a general grants program; however they consider inquiries from investigators interested in working in their core areas of immunology and infectious disease as they relate to mental illness.

    Does Not Fund

    Focus limited to schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depression. Maximum amount $300,000 per year for up to three years. Prioritizes generic and off-label medications over new drug development.
