    In 2021, distributed 95 grants totaling $4.5 million. Recent grants to 826NYC for Write After School programs, Ballet Hispanico for Community Arts Partnerships, Brooklyn Museum for School Partnerships and Teen Programs, UpBeat NYC to expand free music programs for children in South Bronx. $1M UNCF scholarship program for Black, Latinx and Indigenous college students in NYC.

    How to Apply

    Applications for all grant programs are by invitation only. New organizations can submit a Letter of Inquiry during one open period per year (typically November to January) through Foundation's online portal. After LOI deadline, submissions are reviewed and selection of new applicants is invited to submit full proposal. Grant application for new organizations currently closed, check back fall 2025.
