    The Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation was established in 1959 by Jeannette Genius McKean in memory of her mother, Elizabeth Morse Genius. The Foundation was established exclusively for recognition of religious, charitable, scientific, educational, literary or educational purposes, and to promote the welfare of mankind, including the acquisition, production, preservation, collection, promotion, appreciation and exhibition of fine arts.

    Major support to Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Rollins College, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations in Central Florida. Recent grants: $750,000 to Rollins freshwater research initiative, $100,000 to United Arts of Central Florida, $50,000 to Dr. Phillips Center.     Grant proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 15th for Annual Meetings in early May, or by September 15th for Special Meetings in early November. Must be 501(c)(3) exempt with IRS Exemption Letter dated within 10 years. Funding ranges from few thousand to over $1 million.

    Geographic limitation: Must be for benefit of Central Florida area. Counties: Brevard, Citrus, Flagler, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Indian River, Lake, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, Volusia.
