    The Teagle Foundation works to support and strengthen liberal arts education, which we see as fundamental to meaningful work, effective citizenship, and a fulfilling life. Our aim is to serve as a catalyst for the improvement of teaching and learning in the arts and sciences while addressing issues of financial sustainability and accountability in higher education.

    How to Apply

    Two-stage application process: 3-5 page concept papers serve as preliminary applications submitted to proposals@teagle.org. After review, limited number of applicants invited to submit full proposals through online application system. Concept papers reviewed three times per year with deadlines December 1, March 1, and August 1 for Education for American Civic Life. Planning grants up to $25,000 for 6-12 months; implementation grants up to $350,000 for 24-month periods.
