    Mission

    ARCS Foundation advances science and technology in the U.S. by providing financial awards to scholars studying to complete STEM education degrees. ARCS Foundation is a nationally recognized nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization started and run entirely by women who boost American leadership and aid advancement in science and technology. ARCS Foundation believes that support of STEM education is essential to U.S. economic growth, technological competitiveness, and continued global leadership. To address the country's need for new scientists and engineers, we provide unrestricted funding to help the country's brightest graduate and undergraduate students create new knowledge and innovative technologies.

    How to Apply

    Scholars must apply for ARCS Scholar Awards through their university departments on an annual basis. Students don't apply directly to ARCS Foundation but must go through their institution's nomination process. Basic requirements: U.S. citizens with at least 3.5 GPA enrolled in academic degree programs in science, engineering, and medical research.
