    How to Apply

Initial inquiries should be in the form of a letter sent by e-mail and signed by the applicant organization's executive director or authorized representative. Supporting material should not exceed five additional pages. The DSF Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees acts on grant requests three times per year. Inquiries may be submitted at any time. If initial inquiry is approved, full proposals must include a narrative, project budget, the organization's current operating budget, and audited financial statements.

    Does Not Fund

The Foundation does not consider requests for support of individuals or contributions to endowments. The Foundation generally requires that two years elapse between the end of one grant period and consideration of a new request from the same organization.

Based on publicly available information from the foundation's 990 filings and website.

    Network Intelligence

    Funding follows networks, not keywords

SciRise maps 4.8M+ grants across 16,000+ foundations to identify which ones are most likely to fund organizations like yours — based on who they already fund, not just what they say they fund.

Data sourced from IRS 990 and 990-PF filings and publicly available foundation websites. Grant data, financial figures, and organizational details reflect historical filings and may not represent current operations or funding priorities.
