    How to Apply

    8-stage systematic process. Step 1: LOI required first step through AVDF portal by deadline. Step 2: Full Proposal by invitation only. Materials due by 5:00 pm ET on deadline. Board meets February and May. Project start date June 1 or later following submission year. Evaluation plan required for intervention projects.

    Does not fund capital projects or endowments. Does not provide support to interfaith centers or organizations operating at local/community level. Environmental Solutions and Palliative Care programs are invitation-only (no open submissions). Only accepts requests in 2 of 5 program areas: Private Higher Education and Interfaith Leadership/Religious Literacy.
