    How to Apply

    The Mariam and Robert Hayes Charitable Trust does not accept unsolicited requests. Beneficiaries are drawn from a list of organizations suggested by Mrs. Hayes or included by the Trustees.

    Does Not Fund

    The Foundation does not provide start-up funding, scholarships, grants to individuals or operating funds including salaries or overhead costs. Organizations must be well established with at least five years of successful operations. Organizations should wait at least two years between grant requests. The Foundation does not want to create dependency. The Cannon Foundation is not interested in naming opportunities.
