The Foundation has discontinued its former practice of inviting unsolicited proposals for all of its funding priorities. Each funding priority now has a different application process, and many do not accept unsolicited proposals. Staff members spend time in the community learning, meeting with organizations, and building relationships with nonprofit, public, and philanthropic partners.
