    Funded Initiatives

    At a February 2025 trustees meeting, grants approved totaled $3,034,500 to be disbursed in Lorain and Cuyahoga counties in Ohio as well as Columbia, South Carolina; Metro Denver, Colorado; Boston, Massachusetts; Penn Yan, New York; and other areas of interest. Thirty-seven other actions totaling $114,739 were also ratified at the meeting, bringing the total grants authorized in this round to $3,149,239; Since 1988, the Nord Family Foundation has contributed more than $145 million to philanthropic and charitable endeavors.

    All applications must be made online through their portal. After establishing an account through their grant portal, you will be directed to complete an Eligibility Quiz to ensure your organization meets their basic guidelines. Upon passing the quiz, you will proceed to the application. The Board of Trustees meets three times per year and all grants are approved or ratified during one of those meetings.
