    Funded Initiatives

    The Foundation awarded $100,000 in funding to employee-recommended charities in the 17th annual Pay It Forward. 98 basic needs organizations across Montana received a combined total of $356,000. The Foundation awarded Missoula Family YMCA a $2 million grant. EdReady, a free online math and English remediation through the Montana Digital Academy at the University of Montana.

    Review Grant Guidelines and complete Eligibility Review first. Submit Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through grants management system. For Canadian organizations, letters should be no more than two pages. If granted invitation to submit full application, you will be notified within 90 days from LOI submission. Only applications submitted through online process will be considered.

    Organizations that discriminate against race, ethnic origin, sex, creed, or religion; sectarian or religious organizations for religious purposes; travel expenses or trips; curriculum development or operational costs of public or private educational institutions; sponsorships including auctions, dinners, tickets; political action or legislative advocacy groups; games, sports teams, sporting events; indirect or overhead costs. Geographic limitations to Montana and Washington Companies operating areas.
