    How to Apply

    The Steelcase Foundation accepts applications for support at any time and considers requests for OP3 grants on a quarterly basis. OP3 grantmaking process takes approximately six weeks and includes an Initial Inquiry, Application, and Interview. Early-Stage Operations grants of $150,000 over three years awarded through competitive process, applications open April 1, 2025. Rapid Response grants reviewed monthly for asks up to $30,000.

    Does Not Fund

    Geographic restrictions to Grand Rapids, MI (Kent County) and Athens, Alabama (Limestone County). Grants provided to independent 501(c)(3) nonprofits only. Typically will not be the sole funder of a project or program. Organizations must be vision and mission aligned with the Steelcase Foundation.
