    Foundation Overview

    Mission

The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation aims to positively impact the world by improving people's lives and strengthening communities. The foundation supports organizations which either provide people opportunities for which they would not otherwise have access, or which sustainably improve a community as a whole. Founded in 1986 by Barry Diller (chairman and CEO of IAC) and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, the foundation prioritizes community-building initiatives, both nationally recognized and local passion projects. The foundation supports youth projects, especially Boys & Girls' clubs and social work organizations, with education as the next largest funding category, focusing more on local elementary and high schools than big-name universities.
