The foundation strives to help people understand that they live in their own unique Perception Box whose walls can be expanded to minimize suffering, increase acceptance of self and others, and view trauma and other challenges as opportunities for growth.

    Funded Initiatives

    How to Apply

    Two-stage process: First submit LOI on online portal, then up to 30 selected applicants invited to submit Full Proposal. Full proposals undergo double-blind external review. Funding up to $900,000 over three years.

    Only funds 501(c)(3) medical schools, colleges, universities, or non-profit research organizations. Research must be related to humans with suitable justification required for philosophical enquiry, mathematical models, laboratory animals, or in vitro experiments.
