    Multi-step process: 1) Submit Partner With Us form with confirmed funding and clear fundraising plan; 2) Tides staff conducts initial assessment for mission alignment; 3) Eligible candidates invited to submit full application by invitation only; 4) Projects onboarded in four periods annually; 5) Process takes 10-12 weeks minimum. Requirements: $100,000 committed funding for US-based activity or $50,000 for single domestic project

    No grants directly to individuals; no partisan political activity due to 501(c)(3) status; donor advised funds subject to restrictions on payments to donors or related parties; may reject recommendations inconsistent with charitable mission or not in compliance with law; organizations not registered as 501(c)(3) receive Expenditure Responsibility grants with additional reporting requirements
