    Foundation Overview

    Mission

The Kemmons Wilson Family Foundation was created in 1960 as a vehicle to make positive investments into the city of Memphis. The foundation intends to positively impact and transform the Memphis, Tennessee community through grantmaking in the following categories: community outreach, and development advancement of youth, enriching education, faith-based ministries, and health and research related organizations. We do all this because we were raised by Kemmons and Dorothy to know better and to do right. They taught us that Memphis is our family, that we all belong to each other.
