    Since 1995, the James N. McCoy Foundation has supported nonprofit and educational organizations focused on creating and sustaining a vibrant community in Wichita Falls and Wichita County. The Foundation's Board honors the legacy of the Founder, James N. McCoy, by supporting Christian organizations, crime prevention, community development, education, healthcare and social services agencies.

    Funded Initiatives

    In 2004, provided initial funding to establish the McCoy School of Engineering at Midwestern State University. In 2018, MSU named the McCoy College of Science, Mathematics and Engineering in recognition of ongoing support by the Foundation.

    How to Apply

    Two grant cycles per year with allocations occurring in May and November. Applications accepted from organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status primarily located in Wichita County, Texas.
