    $250,000 to Generations With Pride for LGBT senior community center; $200,000 each to Street Roots weekly Portland newspaper and Vanessa Behan crisis parenting facility in Spokane; $100,000 to Baker School District 5J to support Ukrainian exchange students; donations to Doctors Without Borders and World Central Kitchen for Russo-Ukrainian War response; 2023 Zinnia finalists: Adelante Mujeres, Dougy Center, Victory Academy; 2024 finalists: HOLLA School and The Red Door Project.

    How to Apply

    Multiple grant programs: Sunflower Grant ($4,000-$7,000), Rose Grant ($25,000-$35,000), Daffodil Grant ($100,000-$125,000), Zinnia Grant (most competitive). Uses Preliminary Application (LOI) for Rose & Daffodil. Applications open at different times; 2025 Rose and Daffodil applications closed, next Sunflower opens September 15 through October 8.

    Fiscally sponsored organizations not eligible. Faith-based organizations rarely funded, do not fund organizations with faith or participatory requirements for employees, participants, or volunteers, nor those who proselytize. Do not support endowments or investment of grant-awarded funds. Do not permit grant dollars to pay off debts. Do not typically support bridge or emergency funding beyond natural disaster response. Organizations pursuing Rose or Daffodil Grant must have operating budget of at least $250,000.
