    Mission

    The PCRF's mission is to improve the care, quality of life and survival rate of children with malignant diseases by raising funds to support state-of-the-art research that will ultimately lead to a cure for all childhood cancers. Since 1982, the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation has been chasing one ambitious goal: to make it possible for all children facing childhood cancer to beat their disease and realize their full potential.

    Funded Initiatives

    PCRF has invested more than $61 million in pediatric cancer research. Funded development of CAR-T cell treatment for Leukemia and new immunotherapy approach for osteosarcoma. Since 2017, handed out nearly 527 scholarships totaling more than $684,750.

    How to Apply

    All applicants must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) between February 1st through April 1st via ProposalCentral. Upon approval of LOI, applicants will be notified in mid-April if invited to submit a full grant application through ProposalCentral by July 1st at 5:00pm PST. Scientific peer review is conducted by PCRF's External Review Committee.

    Does Not Fund

    PCRF does not fund infrastructure or support services. No indirect costs will be funded. Principal Investigator needs to be employed by a non-profit U.S. institution. PCRF will only fund one grant per institution, per award type.
